I'm here to be more than just your photographer.

I’m a born-and-raised Minnesota girl who left the city and ran straight for the mountains. I fell in love with a wilderness guide in the rugged peaks of the Grand Tetons, and said “I do” with wind-blown hair, a few storm clouds, and a herd of horses running wildly behind us.

Today, my husband and I live in a Tiny House (no, really--it's 150 square feet) in the forest with our horse, Scout, and our well-traveled cat, Louie. As a hopeless romantic and outdoor enthusiast myself, a love for adventure elopement photography was baked into my DNA.

(Drew is my middle name, which i hated as a kid but have since grown to love.)

I'm Samantha Drew.

Things you'd learn about me over coffee (or a beer):

Beautiful love stories make me weepy.
My guilty pleasures include ALL desserts, listening to true crime podcasts, and watching The Bachelor.
When I'm not doing photography, you can find me teaching adaptive horseback riding to people with disabilities.
In third grade, I won the “animal expert” award. My parents still have the trophy.
I’m a very talented napper. I can sleep anywhere, anytime.
I'm a true enneagram 4.
The Office and Parks and Rec are my favorite TV shows (aren't they everybody's?)
I've traveled to 15 countries.
I remember the name of every dog I meet (and love them all).

I got married in the mountains

in July of 2019 to my lifelong adventure partner, Joey. It was the most perfect day, and it was so. much. fun. Everybody should get to feel that kind of joy on one of the biggest days of their lives.

If you stick with me, you might hear Joey's name through the planning process. Not only does he work as a Guide in Wyoming's national parks, but he also loves to pour over maps and find the coolest new places. That means you're guaranteed to have some of the best information when it comes to your dream locations and how we'll get there.

All this to say...

I’d love to be your National Park tour guide, the third-wheel who has your back with extra trail snacks and sunscreen, and the photographer who captures the memories of the most joyous, love-filled, cup-overfloweth day of your life (so far).
